Reading Ambassadors 

In our quest to further develop reading for pleasure and to create a school that embraces reading we asked our Year 6 children to apply to become ambassadors for the school. After an overwhelming number of applications from the children, Mr McConnell and Mrs. Brogan made the difficult decision to chose the following children. 

Reading Ambassadors on World Book Day

Our reading ambassadors planned activities for the whole school for World Book Day. These included coding, quizes, colouring, charades, hangman and reading to our younger children.  

World Book Day Celebrations

Sharing our love of books 

The children have been sharing their love of books with our children in the EYFS and KS1. The children have recorded themselves reading to the younger children and have written recommendations of books that they will share with their friends and teachers.
