Our Ice Experiment

This week the children have enjoyed investigating ice as part of our topic about winter. We have discussed how ice is created and have looked at making ice in the freezer as well as leaving water in the outdoor area over night.

The children then made predictions about what would happen to the ice we created when we leave it in different areas of the classroom and in the outdoor area.

Finally, at the end of the week, we were even lucky to have a bit of ‘snow’.

This morning the children enjoyed a Scootfit session with James. We learnt how to turn our scooter and how to move safely and quickly. James talked to us about keeping safe and ensured that we were all wearing helmets and knee pads. What a fun morning we had.

Today the children were using different skills as they were taking part in different circus activities.
