Inspiring children to care, learn and achieve

Autumn 1st half term

We have been busy settling in to nursery life, making new friends and having lots of fun over this first half term.   Take a look what we've been doing in our first few weeks.

We have been learning about 2 dimensional shapes. We have been creating lots of pictures using different shapes and then we went on a shape hunt outside to see what shapes we could find around the school grounds. The nursery children are great shape detectives!

Many thanks for your harvest gifts.

We have been finding out about the Hindu festival Diwali. Sloka's mummy very kindly came in to tell us about how their family celebrate this Festival of Lights. She showed us how to create Rangoli patterns and Sloka brought in some lovely sweets as a gift. Thank you Mrs Patel and Sloka!
