Stay and Play

These sessions will run from 08:45-09:30 starting after the October half term. Have a look at the website in the new school year when we will post the dates of these sessions.

Thank you to everyone who completed our Stay and Play feedback sheet. It has been lovely to receive all your positive comments about the sessions.

Below are some of the comments written by parents about our stay and play sessions

“It is a great way to see the teaching team and how (my child) plays with others”

“A great idea, varying the days is good, so that all could join in at some time! Well done!”

“I have really enjoyed the stay and play sessions, as it is lovely to be able to see the different activities available to the children and how much fun they all have.”

“It has given us the chance to see all the wonderful displays and work that has been produced by the children and it has helped me understand many of the activities (my child) talks about at home.”

Gauntlet Birds of Prey

Jenny came to visit us from the Gauntlet birds of prey. She brought six different birds to show us and Diego the polecat. We had the opportunity to stroke some of the birds and watch them fly over our heads. Jenny brought in Yoda the Little Owl, Humph the White Faced Scott' Owl, Whisper the Kestrel, Baldrick the Vulture, Caesar the Owl and Beth the Harris Hawk.  Jenny told us lots of information about the birds and we even got the opportunity to fly Beth. Please look at our nursery and reception pages to see some of the photographs.
