Carol Service at Christchurch

The whole school walked over to Christchurch on Thorley Lane on Tuesday 15th December to take part in the school's annual Carol Service. The church was packed for the service which consisted of Christmas Carols and songs, readings from the Bible, Christmas dances and instrumental pieces from some of our guitarists and recorder players.

Thanks to the Rev. Jim Bridgeman, the vicar of Christchurch, for hosting the event and making us so welcome in the church that afternoon. Thanks to all parents  who gave so generously to the offertory collection made during the service, half of which was retained by Christchurch and the other half, the school will be sending off to Shelter, the charity for homeless people.
