Friday 18th October
Harvest Festival Celebration
All parents are welcome to join us in the school hall (9.30 - 10.30 a.m. approx) to celebrate this year's Harvest Festival. We welcome The Revd Jim Bridgman from Christchurch to our school to help us celebrate.
Special thanks to one of our parents, Mrs Rodin - Simcock for making a wonderful quilted harvest banner for the school. The banner will be included in our Harvest display in the hall and we hope to make use of it over the coming years as we continue to celebrate Harvest each autumn term.
Trafford Social Services came to school after the Harvest Assembly on Friday to pick up the large quantity of grocery items donated by parents and friends. They have since sent the school a letter of thanks expressing their sincere gratitude and explaining that the food would be distributed to needy families and individuals in Trafford. They explained that the demand for such donations is greater than ever.
