The school will be holding a parent information evening on the subject of 'Learning To Read' on Thursday 21st November between 6.30 and 8.00 p.m.
The evening will initially consist of a presentation in the hall, followed by workshops around the school, run by the teachers. These workshops will reflect how the teaching of reading is delivered in the classroom across the main age-related phases of the school. There will be four classroom based workshops as follows;
1. The Foundation Stage (Nursery and Reception classes)
2. Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)
3. Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4)
4. Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6).
All Cloverlea parents are welcome to attend.
