Welcome to Reception with Mrs Brogan, Mrs Fazackerley, Mrs Blackburn and Mrs Brown
In the last week of the school year the White Watch from Altrincham Fire Station came to talk to us.
Our trip to Timperley Zoo
Over the last half term the children have been looking at the life cycles of caterpillars, tadpoles and seeds.
Life Cycle of a Frog
The children have enjoyed visiting the wildlife area each week to monitor the development of the tadpoles.
Life Cycle of a Butterfly
The children have LOVED having the caterpillars in our classroom over the last few weeks. They have watched them eating, growing and changing each day. Finally, after two weeks the butterflies have pushed their way out of the cocoons.
In the last weeks before Christmas the children in reception have enjoyed their Christmas Party (including a visit from a special somebody) and also a trip to the Lowry to watch 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'.
In P.E we have been investigating different ways of moving. Including tall movements, low movements, fast movements and slow movements. We have enjoyed matching our movements to different music.
