Reception
Welcome to the Reception Class with Mrs Brogan, Mrs Fazackerley and Mrs Blackburn
EYFS trip to Stockley Farm
On Friday 9th May the children in nursery and reception went on their class trip to Stockley Farm. We had a great day and the rain mangaged to stay away for most of the day.
During the day we went on a tractor and did a wildlife walk. We fed the chickens, baby goats and lambs as well as looking at the different animals that live on the farm. We even managed to have a play in the park. we hope you enjoy our pictures of the day.
World Book Day
The children in reception all dressed up as different characters from books for World Book Day. Ebony won the best dressed character and won a £5.00 gift voucher from Mr. Linnett. Well done Ebony.
Spring Term
Following on from our visit from Gauntlet Birds of Prey we have been making some chocolate owl cakes - delicious!
Garden Birds
We have been thinking about the birds in winter and how we can help to look after them in our gardens. The children have been thinking about what the birds might need.
Each of the children designed and then made a home for the birds using resources they found in our classroom.
Autumn Term
In the Autumn term we looked at the book 'The Leaf Man'. The children used the different things they could find in our school grounds to create their own pictures.
Autumn Walk
We went for a walk around the school grounds looking for signs of autumn.
Physical Development
We have fun dancing with JanNik Dance in our P.E sessions.
Christ Church
At the beginning of December we visited Timperley Christ Church and met the Reverend Jim Bridgeman, who spoke to us about Advent.
