We welcome back all of our pupils on the 8th March and we are excited for the term ahead.
For the remaining weeks of this half term, we will have a real focus on the well being of all of our pupils and there will be many opportunities for children to talk about their feelings and to express themselves through creativity.
In English, we will begin by focusing on poetry which will encourage the children to recognise, name and express their feelings.
In Maths, we will be continuing our work on fractions, then moving on to work on decimals and percentages, and finding opportunities to do some Active Maths activities outdoors.
In Science, we will be continuing work on Forces and carrying out investigations in class.
In Design Technology, we will be having a Lego Wedo workshop which will give us plenty of practice in putting together and controlling models.
Our RE work focuses on places of worship and we will be considering their importance for faith communities.
In our Jigsaw work, we will be exploring dreams and goals for the future and also thinking about how to keep ourselves healthy both mentally and physically.
Look out for photographs which will be added as the weeks go on.
We had an amazing day making and controlling Lego models such as helicopters and alligators. This session linked very well to our Science topic of Forces as the models incorporate gears, levers and pulleys. Take a look at our super pictures.
