Inspiring children to care, learn and achieve

Spring Term

Physical Education

This term, Year 3 have been doing lots of PE with trained instructiors as part of Primary League Stars scheme. From great warm up games to various competitive team games, the children have been active, learning new skills and having great fun.

Year 6 Science Fair

Pupils in Year 3 had great fun today at the Year 6 Science Fair. The school hall was packed with stalls where pupils in Year 6 had planned a range of science experiments. There was everything from Electricity to Gravity to Chemical reactions. As you will see from the photographs the Year 3 thought the experiments were fantastic and were totally engrossed.

Enjoying Learning

We really like it at Cloverlea when children extend their learning at school by doing little projects at home. In Year 3 we have lots of children who do just that. Most weeks, the classroom comes alive with pictures, home made books, photographs, objects and powerpoint presentations which showcase a love of learning. We will try and show you some of these on our class page.

Magnetic Building

Year 3 have been creating wonderful buildings, shapes and patterns today using magnetic shapes. They really enjoyed exploring the potential of the new magnetic building sets that were purchased from their class budget. As you will see the children made some great creations which definitely deserve to go on the class page and be shared with others. We hope you agree.
