In English, we will be reading The Hodgeheg by Dick King-Smith, learning how to write a recount (diary entry), studying Arthurian legends as well as reading a variety of other genres such as poetry and non-fiction.
Science, Geography, D&T, Art - we're studying a cross curricular theme of 'Extreme Earth', in which children learn the Earth's climate and areas of extreme temperatures/weather conditions. Pupils will design, make and evaluate waterproof containers and interactive information boxes as well as reproducing Hokusai's 'Great Wave'.
PE - pupils will have 3 sessions this half term.
