SATs stands for Statutory Assessment Tests and are taken at the end of year 2 and 6 - these were not taken by children in 2020 or 2021 due to the pandemic.
The leaflets below are for parents with children in primary school. They set out how the results from key stage 1 and key stage 2 national curriculum assessments are used to calculate primary progress measures. They also explain what these progress measures mean.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, and cancellation of tests, these performance measures are not current.
Children are deemed to have achieved Good Level of Development (GLD) if they have achieved the Early Learning Goals (ELG) in the Early Years curriculum. These areas are: Personal, Social and Emotional Development; Physical Development, Communication and Language Development, Literacy and Mathematics.
