Your tasks for today are as follows…

Maths: problem solving

Continue to spend about 10 minutes working on your times tables on TTRS or hit the button in order to keep your fluency with them up.

Have a go at the next problem solving lesson I have linked below. Remember that some problem solving activities require perseverance! Keep working on the problems, even if you can’t find the answer immediately. The answers are also provided for you to self-mark once you have finished. If you need any guidance with this lesson, please follow the link below and watch the video that corresponds to today’s lesson (Summer Term week 2 lesson 4).

English: spellings and grammar

Continue to work on your spellings as needed.

Also, complete the grammar task I have attached below. The answers are provided at the end of the task for you to check after you have completed the activity. If there are any areas you are unsure of within this task, make a note of them for you to revise in the future.

Well-being: The Keep Dancing Challenge

To keep your minds healthy and positive, remember to complete your daily well-being activity where possible. Tonight, there will be a special programme on TV: Children in Need and Comic Relief are joining forces to provide a night of entertainment that will celebrate the people who are working through the coronavirus pandemic and support those affected by the virus. Money raised will be split between the two charities.

For today’s well-being activity, I would like you to have a go at the Keep Dancing Challenge that will feature on the show. Follow the link below and then click on the tutorial videos to learn the routine. If you’re feeling brave enough, ask a parent to upload it to social media with the #keepdancingchallenge hashtag. The best clips will be shown on TV on the night! I’d love to see your dances too, so ask a parent to email them to me once you have perfected your moves, or tag our Cloverlea twitter page.
