Inspiring children to care, learn and achieve

Hello Year 1,

Did you enjoy the story yesterday? I am really pleased that the Easter Bunny had lots of friends who could help. It reminded me of our school caring value.

It is very strange to be in school without you all! Keep sending your lovely photos.

Dear Parents,

The link for the e-book 'Saving Easter' is in the start of week letter. I have added the PDF to the relevant working days. Apologies for the latter!

I do try to balance the amount of work which I set for the children. I am aware that some of you are having to juggle this with working from home. As a school and in response to parent feedback and requests, all staff have kept home learning running over the Easter holiday excluding Good Friday and Easter Monday. I have kept this weeks tasks to an Easter theme so that they can be optional.

Please just do your best. Keep maths and phonics going along with regular reading. At busy times, many English tasks can be talked about as opposed to recording. Well-being for the whole family is just as important, so please don’t put yourselves under too much pressure.

Take care

Mrs Harris
