Your tasks for today are as follows…
Continue to spend about 10 minutes working on your times tables on TTRS or hit the button in order to keep your fluency with them up.
To complete our work on angles, after your times tables, please work through the final angles lesson which I have linked below. Answers are also provided for you to self-mark once you have finished. If you need any guidance with this lesson, please follow the link below and watch the video that corresponds to today’s lesson (Summer Term week 2 lesson 2).
English: spellings and writing task
Continue to work on your spellings as needed.
After that, please complete the writing task I have linked below. Remember to use all the features we have worked on during our time in school this year, including figurative language, punctuation, a variety of sentence types and dialogue punctuated correctly. Complete the piece of writing in a book or on a computer. When you have finished, share your writing with your family later and see what they think!
Well-being: things to look forward to jar
To keep your minds healthy and positive, remember to complete your daily well-being activity where possible. For today’s well-being activity, have a look at the document I have attached below. Make yourself (or you could do a family version) a jar of all the things you want to do when things go a little bit more back to normal. I did one myself! It made me excited about being able to do these things, and feel more positive because I know I will be able to do so at some point. Some of the items on my list were big (e.g. going away on holiday) and some were small (e.g. having friends and family round to see our new house, going to the cinema). I think we will all appreciate these things even more after not being able to do them for so long!
