I hope you are all still keeping safe and well? Can you believe that this will be our ninth week of home learning? This will be our last 'Home Learning' for a couple of weeks, as we would like to give the children a break from schoolwork over what would have been their half term holiday. Home Learning will resume from 8th June, so check back then.
Thank you for all of your emails that you have been sending. I have really enjoyed seeing how you are all keeping busy. Some of you have also had your 4th birthday in Lockdown too! I hope you had fun celebrating. Below, are this week's activities. Please continue to email your updates and ask questions if you have any.
This week I would like you to learn about the number 15. Can you find 15 in different ways? It might be 15 on a digital clock, or counting out 15 peas or duplo bricks. Can you sky write 15, draw it in sand, make it out of play-dough? The list is endless. I would like you to send me photographs of all the ways you have found or made the number 15 this week and I will create a number Powerpoint out of them for next week. Below I have found a PowerPoint all about 15 to help you get started.
Last week we look at the letter 't' that is found in phase 2 of Letters and Sounds. The phase 2 letters are s, a, t, p, i, n. To get us more familiar with these sounds I have included a satpin PowerPoint game found on last weeks page.
This week I would like you to focus on the letter 'n'. There is a PowerPoint and some activities below. There is also 'my a workbook' to help you spot the letter 'n' and learn its formation.
Developing Fine Motor Skills.
Each morning in Nursery, we would take part in a session of 'Dough Disco' on YouTube to help strengthen our fine motor skills for writing and drawing. These short videos are only about 5 minutes long and all you need is a small ball of playdough each. There are live sessions at 9:30 or lots of videos to choose from on YouTube.
Well-being and Mindfulness- Cosmic Kids.
To help us move about and continue with our yoga and meditation I have included the link for Cosmic Kids below. There are lots of different stories added that you can choose from.
