Wednesday 1st April 2020
Happy April Fool’s Day! Make sure you remember to play a trick on your family if you can…but remember to do it before midday otherwise YOU are the April Fool!
Your tasks for today are as follows…
Continue to spend about 10 minutes working on your times tables on TTRS or hit the button in order to keep your fluency with them up.
To continue our week of ratio, after your times tables, please complete the third ratio lesson which I have linked below. Answers are also provided for you to self-mark once you have finished. If you need any guidance with this lesson, please follow the link below and watch the video that corresponds to today’s lesson (week 1 lesson 3).
English: spellings and reading
Continue to work on your spellings as needed.
Have a look at the image I have attached below and use your inference skills to answer the questions in full detail. When you are able to, show your parents the image and discuss your answers to the questions with them. Do they agree with you? Do they think differently? Remember, it is find to have different opinions and there are no right or wrong answers here!
Well-being: word search and play bingo
To keep your minds healthy and positive, remember to complete your daily well-being activity where possible. Firsty, have a go at the word searches I have uploaded below. Can you find all the words?
For today’s second well-being activity, have a game of bingo with your family! You could design the sheets for everyone, giving each member of your family the same amount of numbers between 1 and 99, or let everyone choose their numbers like you sometimes do in class. To play, find a random number generator online (if you type that in Google, one comes up) and just make sure you set the minimum and maximum numbers to 1 and 99. Have fun!
Your topic tasks for this week…
Keep working on your chilli challenges over the Easter break too if you want activities to do and don’t forget to keep up with Joe Wicks and Oti Mabuse if you can. Keeping active and healthy will be the best way to fight off the virus.
I hope you are and your families are all well.
