Wednesday 8th April 2020
Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you are having a good week at home and that you and your families are still feeling well.
Your tasks for today are as follows…
Continue to spend about 10 minutes working on your times tables on TTRS or hit the button in order to keep your fluency with them up.
We have now finished our work on ratio and will be beginning some work on angles now. After your times tables, please complete the first angles lesson which I have linked below. If you struggle to complete task 3 while at home then please don’t worry, just do what you can. Answers are also provided for you to self-mark once you have finished. If you need any guidance with this lesson, please follow the link below and watch the video that corresponds to today’s lesson (week 2 lesson 3).
English: spellings and reading
Continue to work on your spellings as needed.
Have a look at the image I have attached below and use your inference skills to answer the questions in full detail. When you are able to, show your parents the image and discuss your answers to the questions with them. Do they agree with you? Do they think differently? Remember, it is find to have different opinions and there are no right or wrong answers here!
Well-being: play a board game with your family
To keep your minds healthy and positive, remember to complete your daily well-being activity where possible. For today’s well-being activity, try and find the time to play a board game with your family. This might be a board game you already have, or you could make one. Have fun!
Your topic tasks for this week…
Have you started working on any of the Easter chilli challenges that I posted on Monday? If so, I hope you enjoyed whatever challenge you started and I hope continuing to work on these adds some fun to your Easter break.
Keep working on the World War chilli challenges over the Easter break too if you need more time on them. Are you still keeping up with Joe Wicks and Oti Mabuse? Well done if so! Keeping active and healthy will be the best way to fight off the virus.
I hope you are all ok and enjoying the lovely weather at least. I am hoping we are all able to get back to school soon, but keep smiling and working hard until we can!
