Hi Year 3,
It is the last week of home learning. You have one week to go and then you are officially at the end of Year 3 and ready for your Summer Break. I hope that you are all well and looking forward to your break. I know that I am. It has been a very strange year for all of us and if I could I would keep all of you with me for another year but I am not allowed. I am so happy that I got the opportunity to teach you for some of the year but also disappointed that I did not get the opportunity to teach you, at Cloverlea, for the full year. However, I am looking forward to getting back to school in September and seeing you again, ready to start your next stage in your Cloverlea journey, in Year 4. You are going to love it and I know you will continue to do well as you did in Year 3.
As you will all know by now, we are losing Cass at the end of this academic year as he is moving to a new school in September. I am sure that you are all going to miss him very much as most of you have been in the same class since Nursery/Reception. It is always a sad day when a pupil leaves Cloverlea and the impact is felt amongst the whole school community. However, we send our very best wishes to Cass and hope he continues to do his best and let his qualities shine, just like he has done at Cloverlea.
This week for your home learning tasks I want you to continue to follow the BBC Bitesize activities for Maths and English, as you would normally do, and then I have a couple of transition activities I would like you to have a look at. We would normally do similar activities in school, getting you thinking about the year you have just completed and the year you are moving on to but instead we are doing them at home.
Have fun this week, Year 3. I have included some art workshops (you tube) you might want to have a go at and some puzzle sheets for you to do.
