Inspiring children to care, learn and achieve

Week Beginning 11th May

Dear Parents,

I would just like to say a big thank you to you all! I can see from all the photos and messages that I keep receiving that you are doing a fantastic job! I know from my own family members and friends how hard it can be, especially it you are juggling home schooling with working from home! For this reason, the document below is just for you!

Keep safe,

Mrs Harris

Dear Year 1,

I hope that you had a lovely weekend and that you enjoyed some of the VE day celebrations.

This week, I enjoyed taking part in my first fun family quiz on 'Zoom'. It was great fun! We had a short break in the middle where we had to find a disguise! Mr Harris and I won the quiz and now we have to host the next one! I think that I might be busy this week working out how to do this!

As the weather has been so lovely, I have enjoyed being in my garden. As you can see from the photos, so did Jigsaw Jack! My sunflowers are now starting to grow quickly and I am growing some herbs and  flowers on my windowsill.

This week, there is a new set of 'Chilli Challenges' which I hope that you will enjoy over the next few weeks.

Love from

Mrs Harris

Well Being

Use the craft instructions to create your own well being jar. Having things to look forward to can make you feel happier. Each time you think of something you would like to do in the future, write it on a piece of paper and place it inside your decorated jar. Have fun!
