Inspiring children to care, learn and achieve

Week Beginning 18th May

Dear Parents,

Please note that there is a slight difference to maths lessons. ‘White Rose Maths’ are only providing video tutorials and are no longer giving free access to worksheets. These can now be found on ‘BBC Bitesize’. The two sets of plans do run in line with each other. You will note that we are working a week behind these plans, but we have already covered weight and capacity. This week we are on Whiterose Maths; Summer Term Week 4 (w/c: 11th May). More detail are on each daily plan.

Should you wish to complete more maths activities, I have added some challenges, but these are purely optional!

Friday would have been the start of the half term break. As the children worked hard over the Easter break, the staff have decided not to set home learning lessons for these two weeks. This should give you and the children the chance to relax! For those of you who are really keen, BBC Bitesize will continue with lessons on their website!

Thank you for your support.

Mrs Harris

Dear Year 1,

This week, you will notice that the names on the work folders have changed to Day 1, Day 2 and so on. This is because Mrs. Rickels has sent home a 'Joy of Moving - Home School Festival Booklet'. It would be lovely if  everyone could take part during this week. As you only have four days of home learning , you can choose which day you wish to have as your festival day! Please do share your photos by emailing info@cloverlea.org.uk or sharing them on twitter @Cloverlea1917.

Have a great week,

Love from Mrs Harris

Well Being

As your 'Chilli Challenges' are all about the weather, I have found you some weather colouring sheets. You might prefer to draw your own weather picture.
