Hi Year 6!
Hope you have had a lovely weekend and that you are all staying happy and well.
My posts this week will be a little different to usual due to my house move and the fact that I don’t have internet at home for a little while. We did ask for it to be disconnected on 22nd April as we will move in to the new house on 25th April, but a mistake happened and they disconnected us earlier than we wanted! So I send my apologies for that but hopefully all will still run smoothly for you – there are far bigger problems in the world than this right now, aren’t there! Because of this, I have uploaded all the work for this week already. You should be used to the routine of the work now. As usual, there is a daily maths, English and well-being task, as well as the Vikings and Anglo Saxons chilli challenges to continue working on from last week.
I was in school last week and it is so strange there without all of you in! It feels so long now since I have seen you all. It was so nice to speak to some of you on Friday and hear your voices! I really hope you are all ok and making the most of this time you have at home. Try to find the positives in the situation rather than the negatives and hopefully it will help you to stay upbeat. It is lovely to see/hear so many of you cooking lovely food, making things, enjoying the sun, improving your cycling, and completing your work. I will still be able to reply to emails during the week so if you want to continue updating me, please do! I have put the collection of photos I've been emailed so far below - I can add to it if any more emails come through.
Hopefully, I will be able to post again daily next week from my new house!
Send lots of positivity and best wishes to you all,
