Hello Year 5s and parents,
I hope you had a good weekend and that you enjoyed your Easter eggs and any celebrations that you had. The weather has been so lovely and I have noticed lots of beautiful birds in the garden like robins and blue tits. I think they are coming more frequently because there is a lot less traffic on the road behind our house. It's a good job Tinkerbell goes out on her lead; otherwise I think she would definitely have her eyes on them !
I am looking forward to finding out what you have been doing and it will be great to share all of this when we get back to school.
This week, I am going to put up English and Maths work for Tuesday to Friday. Try to complete as much as you can. I have uploaded a new Chilli Challenge based on the book Dragon Rider.
A quick mention about Epic Reading- I can see that some of you have been doing lots of reading and I would recommend that you all keep your reading up-there are loads of books to choose from. Aidan and Shun Yat (to name but a few), I have seen that you have done loads of reading and that is fabulous.
Remember to keep doing your daily physical activities, whether it be Joe Wicks or any other type of sport and also keep up your routine of school work, art and craft and helping at home whenever you can.
It is also really important that you keep up with your well being activities which can help you to maintain a positive attitude.
Spellings-practise these throughout the week
This week's Maths work doesn't have the videos but does have a clear explanation of what to do each day.
