Inspiring children to care, learn and achieve

Week commencing 4th May

Hello all Years 5s,

I hope you are all well and keeping busy with lots of different activities. Have you all been taking part in the clap for carers on Thursday evenings? On our street, it has been an opportunity to see some of our neighbours that we had never really seen much of before and now everyone waves to each other. It is really heart-warming.

On Friday, this week, it is a very special day to celebrate VE day. Across the country people will be celebrating and remembering the 8th May 1945 when the allies achieved victory in Europe at the end of World War 2, 75 years ago. This week I will be setting English and Maths work for Monday to Wednesday along with a new Chilli Challenge based on our History topic-The Early Islamic Civilisation. Thursday's activities will be related to VE day and we won't set any activities for Friday.
